Alberta is offers a diverse landscape as can be seen in the provincial flag. Both the Rocky Mountains
and wheat filled plains share this rugged landscape. Because Alberta was the home to many dinosaurs, there are
both fossil filled badlands and a booming oil industry. Home to the Calgary stampede Alberta is a great place to live or visit.

The badlands near Drumheller, Alberta are unique because the rocks have formed in layers dating back to
the period just before the end of the dinosaurs. Due to the natural excavation of the area, we
can see fossils and some complete dinosaur skeletons too.
